13-acre mostly wooded property located in southern Columbia County abutting Lake Taconic State Park. The approximately one-acre multi-bed garden is the result of thirty years of trial and many errors, dealing with heavy clay soil, a dense deer population, and multiple invasive plant species. Over the years added more than 70 species of native trees and shrubs and many flowering native perennials. Due to space constraints- limited to 25 participants Registration Required. A waitlist will be created in case of any last minute cancelations.   We strive to keep our events free and open to the public and this event is no different.
