Inaugural Meeting We will be celebrating the newest Wild One's chapter and voting our slate of officers in. Help us promote environmentally sound landscaping practices to preserve biodiversity through the preservation, restoration, and establishment of native plant communities. Join us in person or on Zoom on Sunday, November 7th, 2021 at 2:00 PM. To register please email [email protected] and let us know if you will attend in person or on Zoom. If you wish to meet in person join us in The Bethlehem Library 451 Delaware Ave. Delmar, NY 12054. We will also be partaking in the premier viewing of Uninvited: The Spread of Invasive Species. This documentary is a product of the Department of Environmental Conservation with funding provided by the Environmental Protection Fund. It does a fantastic job of explaining different invasive species and why/how they spread through ecosystems. Also why this is everyone's problem because of the negative impacts on the economy as well.

Bring your native plant seeds and get ready to expand your native garden! We will also have information on winter sowing so you can enjoy a higher success rate with your new seeds. Join us on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 at 2 pm for this in-person event at The Bethlehem Library. Please follow any procedures that may be in place during the event pertaining to Covid. As much as we would love to meet everyone, stay home if you are sick. Registration is required so we can set you up with more details. Please feel free to join us even if you do not have seeds. We will do our best to send you home with something!
