Dear Wild Ones members:
Would you like to help support our native plant community? One way to do so is by volunteering your time to plan or participate in one of our upcoming events. The next opportunity will be the 2026 Native Plant Sale at Thacher Park where the theme is biodiversity and climate resilience. This annual event raises critical funds for Wild Ones and the Friends of Thacher.
Join us for a kick-off at Thacher Park to learn how to help or simply celebrate our efforts at the Native Plant Sale Kick-off Social.
LEARN MORE: Native Plant Sale Kick-off Social on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 1-3 pm at Thacher Park.
The sale takes place in May, but organizing, planting and growing preparations start early in the year. The sale distributes nearly two thousand plants and seedlings to gardens across the Capital Region with experienced gardeners on hand to provide plant selection help and growing tips for shoppers.
As we begin 2026, I hope the new year fills you with possibility as we move forward with our mission to help native plants and natural landscapes thrive in every community.
You can help sow the seeds of native plant appreciation, starting on Jan. 31 at Thacher Park.
